Pack Your Bags

Good morning, Kitschies!  It's really a Fall day here in New Mexico and I love it!  Just this weekend we could wear short sleeves and be comfortable outside.  It's about time we start getting some more seasonable weather!

I'm leavin'...on a jet plane...

Well, I'm not, really, but I wish I was!  The fam and I will be heading out to Cali this Christmas (by car) to visit with my family.  I'll be packing my suitcase full of goodies for the boys and the hubs (if he's good).
Speaking of suitcases, if I had more storage in my car, I'd get the hubs and I new bags - the pink for me and the green for him.
How adorable is THIS?!  I'd so get this for Mason.  Think I could convince him to take that with him on his first day of Kindergarten in 3+ years?  LOL
I know Nate would jump at this little suitcase!  I love the little robot and it's the perfect size for Mr Nate's clothes.

I know it's still a little ways off, but what are your plans for the holidays?  Do you stay close to home or is it road trip time?  Or do you just buck the whole holiday "tradition" and escape for a tropical locale?

Cali has a change in seasons? I assume minnesota would be a better choice for that. haha. Love Mason's case. Very cool. I'm heading to Florida for a couple of days. BTW...you better be snapping photos.

Love the Penguin! Everyone will be here for Christmas plus friends. I will be doing most of the cooking and baking.

Oh, you KNOW I'd snag up that pink suitcase! That's cute and better yet, functionable. Hard to believe a pink Barbie suitcase would be functionable. lol

I'd love to see my family for either of the BIG holidays. I really miss them, and family get-togethers like when I was a kid. But, a turkey breast in the slow cooker and some blogging is what I'm doing.

Christmas is ALWAYS reserved for my family. My sisters & I made a deal that we would always be together Christmas day. We want all the cousins together. Thankfully we now all live really close so this is easier then in years past. CHristmas Eve is reserved for our hubby's family. This is the one & only thing we didn't discuss with all of our husbands, they just didn't have a choice. LOL :)

I'm going to pretend in my brain that your car trip to California is like the one in Little Miss Sunshine :P it would be so amusing haha

Fun suitcases! I love the robot.

Both of our parents live within just a few minutes of us, so we stay home. It makes for crazy holidays, though, because we have to fit everyone in -- both sets of grandparents on Christmas, two meals for Thanksgiving, etc. Sometimes I think I'd prefer having to travel farther and seeing just one family each holiday, but I guess it's a tradeoff. :)
