Pretty, Pretty Purple

Happy Thursday, Kitschies!!  I hope you can see the end of the tunnel that is the work week.  It's another exciting day at the clinic (read with MUCH sarcasm)!  The morning has been pretty slow, and both my docs are out this afternoon, so after I get everything finished, I'm outta here!

Today I bring you a beautimus purple holo.  I picked up this awesome color from Magic Maid's HUGE SALE a couple weeks back.  She's got some great deals - go check them out!

Color Club Wild at Heart is a gorgeous deep purple holo.  I don't remember how many coats I used, but I doubt if it was more than two.  This pic was taken indoors with flash - can't really see the holo here.
Outdoors in indirect light.  You can't see the holo here much, either, but it doesn't really matter because it's such a pretty purple - even without the holo bling.
Here it is in direct bright sun.  I think if you click on it to make it bigger, you can see the holo on a couple fingers...barely.
Indoors in bright sun.  Eek!  My skin looks *so* dry.  You can definitely tell there's been a change in the weather (less moisture) by just looking at my hands.  *sigh*  Anyway...as you can tell, this is not an in-your-face holo.  Sometimes you don't need a holo to slap you in your face to appreciate it's beauty.  But, then again, maybe it's my camera because Ivana posted a Ruffian mani using Wild At Heart and got some gorgeous colors out of her pics.

Speaking of holo polishes, which are your favorite?  I have a couple from ChG (gorgeous!), this one from Color Club, and a couple from Milani.  I don't have any Nfu Oh yet, but there's one on my Christmas wish list.  You wanna guess which one?

My doc just finished with her last patient of the day, so I'm going to go eat lunch.  I'm craving Chinese food, but I'm going to be good and just eat the lunch I brought (you're welcome, hubs).  I have an ambitious list of things to do tonight including picking the boys up early from the MIL's house (maybe we'll hit a park on the way home), making dinner, giving the boys a bath, getting them to bed at a decent time, attempting a water marble mani, prepping some Halloween pics and...that's enough, right?  I was contemplating another thing to add to the list, but I'll be lucky if I get both the last two things accomplished.  Oh!  And getting together stuff for a long overdue giveaway.  LOL  Until tomorrow, Kitschies!

Listening to: Someday by The Strokes (makes me want to play RockBand)
Mood: gimme food!

I don't HAVE a favourite holo because I don't have any holos! This purple is amazing though, I wish I could find something like that!

It's really a gorgeous purple! With flash is holo effect much more visible, well also in the sun, just like on your pictures in the sun. It's stunning and really a must-have! Thank you for mentioning my ruffian in your post, that's so kind from you. :)

Hmmm I guess you want Nfu.Oh #65? :P I never tried Nfu.OH but I have pink holos on my WL, soon I'll get one! Woohoo! :)

Not only is this color great on you, your nails have gotten longer. I look forward to the water marbling. I think I've decided I don't have the patience for that one. ;)

Holo = automatic win :) But I prefer the totally obnoxious in your face ones tbh. I was disappointed that my China Glaze LOL only seems to want to show up in artificial light, but my Milani 3D green one is AMAAAAAZING

That's a fantastic color. I swear if you didn't live on the other side of the country I would totally pay you to be my personal manicurist!
