Perfection In A Bottle

Happy Hump Day, Kitschies!! I was going to post last night, but I just wasn't feeling "it". Tonight, with huge thanks to my new favorite nail polish, I'm feeling "it". It's amazing how something as simple as a pretty color can snap you out of a case of the meh's.

I know I am the millionth person to do a review of this color, but I don't care. I have seen all of the reviews. I have seen all the pictures. Even after all the ooohs and aaaahs from everybody, I was skeptical about this color. But...I put up a poll on my blog to see what color I should go for and this color got the most votes - by far! So, I decided to trust everyone and went with it. I asked the BFF which color (of the 8 from the exchange) I should go for first and initially she said this one, but I decided to go with Ki first. I do love Ki, but this is a different girl altogether. I give you Zoya's Charla. From the Sparkle Collection, Charla is truly a mermaid in a bottle!

Indoors, indirect sun (most true to color)

Indoors with flash

Closeup of glittery goodness (in bottle)

I don't like to admit when I'm wrong - my husband can attest to that - but I was definitely wrong about Charla. This is an amazing color with so much depth. Oh, she is so sparkly! I can not wait to see this in the bright morning sun tomorrow. How pathetic do I sound? LOL To see this color in the bottle is one thing, but after two coats, I was in awe of her beauty. I was afraid the finish would be bumpy because I was sure it couldn't be smooth with all that sparkle, but it's not bumpy at all. I am so impressed with the Zoya colors and I am stunned by this beauty. So much so that I am considering ordering another (or two) from the Sparkle collection. I'm thinking I'm gong to be adding Mimi and Ivanka to my collection. Soon. I must have them! LOL

Enough sappiness about a polish (of all things!). Yesterday morning, when we were getting ready for the day, I saw something jump around in the corner of my eye. I looked out the back door and I saw a little baby cottontail. I went and grabbed my sons and the hubs grabbed the camera. He was pretty fast and escaped out through the fence, but the hubs was able to grab a good pic of the little guy.

That's it for this evening, my dear readers. I'm going to go relax under the vent of the cooler and watch some Tosh.0 - I'm so glad Daniel didn't have to wear Cosby sweaters this season.

This does look amazing on you. I passed on it because I saw so many other pictures of it, that I felt like I didn't want to be the millionth person to post it. Now I regret that decision! I SOOO want this color now!

I just received this polish and love the duochrom-mermaid effect of it :D

Oooh I've had my eye on this, but I'm hesitant to get glitter polishes because they're so hard to get off! I try to soak them, but I always get impatient and end up picking it off and it's so bad for my nails :\ Let me know how easy/hard it is to get off!
