So...I was sitting at home today, minding my own business, and a thought popped in my head. I'm going to do two weeks of pink manis (not a new mani every day, just every time I change my polish). I texted the bestie to see what she thought about it. I asked her if she thought I could do it and her reply was simply no. I asked her if she meant "No, don't do it" or "No, I don't think you could". She responded with: I dare you. Well, that's the push I needed! LOL So, I ran over to my Helmer (really, I did) to see what I could find.
This pink beauty is Zoya's Trinity. It's a bright fuchsia pink with a pretty blue flash. I've done a post on Trinity before, but when doing two weeks of pink manis, you're bound to have a little overlap.
I started off with two coats of Trinity on top of Zoya Anchor and topped it off with ChG FFTC. This pic was taken outside. There wasn't much sun today, but what light I had worked well for indirect light.
This is such a pretty color! It reminds me of the 80s for some reason. It's not quite fluorescent, but it's still pretty bright. I couldn't just leave it plain pink - not that this color is plain by any means.
Using Bundle Monster plate BM05 and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Black Out, I stamped a couple stars on each finger.
In the middle of one of the stars on each finger, I added a black rhinestone. I have a kind of love/hate relationship with the black rhinestones. I want them to be blingy-er, but they're pretty flat. They get the job done, though.
One more picture for good measure. Valentine's Day is not my favorite holiday (for a handful of reasons), so I probably won't post your typical VD manis. Yes, I called it VD. Maybe I'll do one mani with hearts and stuff, but for the most part, you'll probably just get pink with whatever decoration tickles my fancy that day. BTW...the hubs said these look better on the monitor than they do IRL. Compliment? LOL
So...do you think I can do it? 2 weeks of only pink manis?

I love this finished mani! BTW, did you really RUN or did you SCAMPER over to your helmer? Just checking? LOL
hmm, thats not a bad idea! maybe just 1 week of pink is ok. hahaha. your nails look HOT!! especially with the stars.
I freakin love this. Serious, it is my dream mani if I ever become a rocker chick. Which I probably won't, so in my day dreams when I am a rocker chick, I will be rocking this. :) Although I agree about the black rhinestones, they can seem flat can't they, still love this. :)
You can do it! If anyone can do it, it's you, Megan. :)
I'd be really impressed if you could. I think I would like stab my eyes out after three manis.
I love the one that you did today!
:O That's so pretty! Your nail shape is looking gorgeous at the moment, too!
I did a glitter gradient yesterday and I asked my fiance what he thought and he said, 'Hmmm, I think it would look better with long sleeves.' WHAT?
goodluck lady! id freak out with the commitment but if i had to choose a color to wear for 2 weeks, it would be pink!
So stamps eh? I never would have known how to do that.
By the way there is no way to leave a comment on your giveaway!?! I want to enter!
cute mani :-)
I love! I want!
Love the mani! Do it! Do it! Do it! I believe in you. :)
Of course you can, but probably only because you are being dared to. :)
I could because I LOOOVE pink. Hey I've got a question for ya... what top coat should I use to keep paint on my nails longer. I'm thinking a fast dry one would be super helpfull because #1 I don't normally wear polish on my hands & so I am pretty impatient & end up denting or smearing it. Also, I don't have fake nails so polish takes EXTRA long to dry on my real nail beds. I had a mani last week & I have enjoyed having color on my nails... I was thinking I should try to keep it up.
i REALLY love this...soooo pretty. and if course i love love love PINK!!!
Ever since I saw this post, all I can hear is the theme song to "Barbie And The Rockers."
Remember that show? Or maybe Jem!
so awesome =)
i love pink, so pretty!
